Temples

Big Buddha is one of the island’s most important and unmissable landmarks. Clad in Burmese marble and sitting on top of the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata, enjoy unrivalled 360-degree views of the entire island from this vantage point.In all, there are about 30 Buddhist temples to visit; each with its own quirks. Wat Chalong, with its gilt statues of two revered monks, Wat Phra Thong with its half-buried Buddha statue and Wat Phra Nang Sang; complete with 3,000 year old Buddha heads are among the most spectacular.

Golf

Phuket is home to eight of the finest golf courses in Thailand and caters for all skills and abilities against a backdrop of stunning and unspoiled scenery.
Offering a full range of natural hazards such as wind, water, land flow and elevation changes to fox even the most experienced, the well-equipped courses of up to 18 holes are guaranteed to provide golfers of all levels with extreme challenge and great fun.

Island Tour

Limestone cliffs and clear emerald water make Phang Nga Bay and its near-neighbour James Bond Island – where ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’ was filmed – a must-see for all visitors to Phuket.
Phi Phi Island is perhaps the best-known in the area; offering both spectacular scenery and perfect snorkelling or scuba-diving in a variety of conditions. With a whole host of transport options such as bus-boat tour, private speedboat or helicopter on offer, a leisurely day’s cruising through the dramatic limestone can be as sociable or as private as you wish.

Diving

For the moderately-experienced, Racha Yai’s East coast offers a gentle drift along a sloping rock face sprinkled with coral, while Racha Noi is a popular site for the more confident diver. The northern tip has a large pinnacle; making it perfect for spotting larger marine life, while the southern point has the added bonus of a beautiful small beach to visit during your surface interval.
There are more diving options to be enjoyed on the south west coast, where a wooden shipwreck is buried at about 27 metres.

Transport

Phuket International Airport is a 40-minute drive away from NaMara Residences. The resort is within easy access to major tourist areas, 5 minutes to Kamala Beach, 15 minutes to Patong and 25 minutes to Phuket Town by taxi or limousine service.
